How sweet!

I have to say how sweet my Husband is too me!
I told him I wanted a Shampooer for my carpet, he bought me my shampooer YAY!!!
Then he told me to open the box to see if it was the right one, so I started opening it up and pulling everything out of the box.
Then I saw a little jewelry box, I opened it and it is a beautiful necklace with Hunter's birthstone on it.
I love my husband and he is very good to me!
He is also the best dad ever for all that he does for Gabby and Hunter!
We love you honey!

XOXO,
Samantha

Looking okay now....

We are hoping for a better night, he is looking okay now with the O2 on.
Good night!
The Isaacson's

Little rough night & morning....

We hooked up his little monitor last night in his room and we went to bed because he was fast asleep.
Then that monitor kept going off...Ugh!
Well by the 3rd or 4th time I went in there he was de-stating down to 72 on his O2 I looked at Hunter and he had foam coming out of his mouth and labored breathing, I yelled for Nick and I told him hook up his O2!
I got him cleared out with the suction machine put his O2 on and he was doing better we got him back up to 95 and he looked much better.
Thank God he was hooked up to that monitor, what a scare for us!

So Nick and I are extremely tired and stressed!!!
I completely broke down this morning in the car on my way to work, this is allot to swallow for us.
Again, we are still on this UP & DOWN roller coaster of emotion....it stinks, but this is what we have to do is take care of our little man and keep him as long as God will allow us too!

Hoping for a better day and night for our little man.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers...Thank you!

Love,
Nick & Samantha

Another ER visit....

We decided to get him into the Pediatrician this morning because of him sounding so congested (or more congested than normal) his normal Pediatrician is not in this week so we had to see one that is not use too Hunter.

I was at work and his Grandma took him. Got a call from her telling me that they wanted to take him to the ER on O2 because he was O2 was 82.

I had to convince the doctor that it was okay that he did not need to ride in the Ambulance to the ER and to have his Grandma take him and I would meet her there. Finally convinced him that's what we are going to do.

We got there and they hooked him up to the monitor and his stats were looking okay? Lowest he got was 88 on his O2 they went ahead and gave him two breathing treatments and was stating good 98 to 100.

He had an X-ray done and he has some slight pneumonia on his left lung so he is on some Antibiotics and is still on breathing treatments when needed.

They also sent us home with O2 and a monitor, so we have a LOAD to take with us wherever we go (I feel like we are moving a house when we go places....) Feeding machine w/ pole, Suction machine, Monitor, O2 tank, baby bag & Baby Hunter!!!!! We will also be adding a new wheelchair in the next few months whenever it goes through the insurance.

Speaking of insurance we found out today that our insurance company does not cover the Wings RN's to come to the house so here is another battle! Why do they make everything so hard when it is already hard enough!

So as of now he is doing okay sleeping away while his mother & father's hair is falling out in clumps....UGH!

Please keep our little man in your prayers...

XOXO,

Nick & Samantha

One of my many weekly jobs.....

Syringe anyone?

Hunter Vs. Seizures....

Well I was off yesterday becauseof the lovely ice we had come in Wednesday night.
Hunter slept most of the morning, it was nice watching the cute little guy sleep so peacefully.

Then....the seizures started...Ugh!
He had another increase in his seizures yesterday, his last few that he had he was trying so hard to fight them off because the last few that he had only lasted a second or two.
We did not have to give him any ER drugs because they were so scattered through out the day and the only way we will give him the ER drug is if he has a cluster of 3 in an hour, he got dang close to getting it though because he had 2 in a 1/2 hour then none till an hour later.
He was pretty lethargic after all that they just tire him out...poor little guy.

No seizures yet today & he may finally get to see Suzie his DT that he has not seen in over a month because of the hospital stays that we have had.

Well hoping for another UNEVENTFUL weekend like last weekend (crossing my fingers)!!!!

XOXO,

Nick, Samantha, Gabby & Hunter Isaacson

God Sent To Me An Angel

God sent to me an angel,
it had a broken wing.
I bent my head and wondered
“How could God do such a thing?”

When I asked the Father
why He sent this child to me,
the answer was forthcoming,
He said “Listen and you’ll see.”

“My children are all precious,
and none is like the rest.
Each one to me is special,
and the least is as the best.

I send each one from Heaven
and I place it in the care
of those who know my mercy,
those with love to spare.

Sometimes I take them back again.
Sometimes I let them stay.
No matter what may happen
I am never far away.

So if you find an angel
and you don’t know what to do,
remember, I am with you,
love is all I ask of you.”

I had to post this very sweet poem that I found...

Gabby and Aunt Jenn decorated Meemaw's tree

Hunter looks like the bundled up kid off of the Christmas story..LOL

Sweet baby was wiped out taking a nap Sunday afternoon.

DURN SEIZURES!

Well let's just say the night started good!

His Meemaw came over to see him and played with him for a bit, then it was mommy's turn to play with the little man he was happy and wanting to eat some applesauce as we were having fun eating and getting big smiles.

Then that mean old seizure had to come out and ruin all the fun for the night...Ugh.

No matter how many times I see him having one it always upsets me, the seizure just took those smiles away and he didn't want to eat anymore, I was just completely bummed after that.

I wish that there was some magic pill that would cure seizures, I know that this is not possible because there are soooo many different types of seizures out there and they are all so hard to treat.

Guess that last night I just had a little bit of a rough night with it. I know that there is a reason for all of it and at this point it is all in God's hands and he knows why this little guy is the way that he is, not that I would change him for a minute I love him just the way he is.

I know that one day we will know why but it is very hard to put this all in God's hands and let him do his work, but that is what we have to do.

Holland is still nice, but it just got a little stormy last night!

XOXO,
Samantha

New Christmas outfit...and on another note

Hunter has been doing allot better, he is also looking allot better too!
Thanks to his Aunt Jen R. she bought this adorable Christmas outfit for him while he was in the Hospital. Love it, it is too cute!

On another note I forgot to post this awhile ago.
I went to pick up Gabby for the weekend a couple of weeks ago and we usually have conversations on the way home of stuff that she has to tell me about.
She started telling me about this kid at her school and he is in Special Ed and always has a teacher with him. She said that she didn't understand why other kids would not play with him so she played with him and she said that he was allot of fun to play with.
All I can say is WOW what an amazing little girl with a big heart. I am very proud to say that she is my step daughter. (I just had to share this)

XOXO,
